This diner-style restaurant brings together the best of two culinary worlds - Korean BBQ and Mexican street food - creating a fusion that's both fresh and mouthwatering.

The minute you step inside, you're hit with the vibrant energy of a casual, laid-back spot. The atmosphere is perfect for anyone craving comfort food but with a twist. Seoul Taco is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience. The cozy, modern interior blends seamlessly with the delicious aromas that greet you as you walk in. Whether you're sitting down to a quick bite or enjoying a meal with friends, the atmosphere sets the tone for what’s to come.

What really makes Seoul Taco stand out is the unique and creative menu, which features tacos, burritos, and bowls that combine the best elements of both Korean and Mexican cuisines. Their Seoul taco, for instance, is a perfect example of this delicious mashup. With seasoned bulgogi beef, spicy kimchi, and fresh toppings wrapped in a warm tortilla, every bite is an explosion of flavors. The balance between the tender beef, the crunchy kimchi, and the zesty sauce makes it a must-try item.

For those who like to kick up the spice factor, you can always opt for a bit of heat in their sauces. Seoul Taco also has vegetarian options for those who prefer a plant-based meal. Their tofu tacos, packed with all the right toppings, are a fantastic alternative to meat dishes, showing the kitchen’s creativity in catering to all dietary needs.

Another highlight of the menu is the burritos. These aren’t your typical burritos, stuffed with rice, beans, and meat. At Seoul Taco, you’ll find Korean-inspired fillings like bulgogi, pork belly, or even spicy chicken, wrapped up in a soft flour tortilla with a variety of sauces and fresh veggies. The flavors marry perfectly, and each bite offers a delightful balance of heat, tang, and savory goodness.

Let’s not forget about their sides. Whether you go for the crispy, golden fried dumplings or their flavorful kimchi fries, Seoul Taco knows how to make every aspect of your meal stand out. The dumplings are perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining juicy and packed with savory filling on the inside. The kimchi fries are a great choice if you're looking for something bold and indulgent. Covered in kimchi, melted cheese, and a spicy sauce, they’re an addictive side that can easily steal the spotlight.

When it comes to drinks, the options at Seoul Taco won’t disappoint. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing craft beer or a traditional iced tea, there’s something for everyone. The drink menu complements the dishes perfectly, allowing guests to unwind while enjoying the lively vibe of the diner.

On top of the amazing food, the service at Seoul Taco is also worth mentioning. The staff are friendly, quick to assist, and knowledgeable about the menu. It’s clear they take pride in their work, ensuring that each customer feels welcome and leaves satisfied. You won’t feel rushed, and the team is more than happy to offer recommendations if you’re unsure of what to try.

As for the prices, Seoul Taco strikes a perfect balance between quality and affordability. While it’s not your typical fast food pricing, you’re definitely getting great value for the flavors and experience you're treated to. Whether you're stopping by for a quick meal or sitting down to enjoy a relaxed lunch, the prices reflect the quality ingredients and effort that go into making each dish.

In terms of location, the restaurant is easily accessible, located just off E 57th St in Chicago, right in the heart of the bustling neighborhood. Whether you're local or visiting, it’s a spot that’s easy to pop into for a quick bite or a meal with friends after a day out.

If you’re looking for a place where you can enjoy bold, flavorful fusion dishes, Seoul Taco is a standout option in Chicago. With its inventive take on Korean-Mexican fusion cuisine, delicious side dishes, and welcoming atmosphere, it’s definitely worth checking out. Whether you're craving tacos, burritos, or something in between, you’ll leave feeling satisfied, happy, and eager to return.

  • Stopped for dinner before a visit to the Museum of Science and Industry. We all really enjoyed our food. Everything was made fast and fresh. I had the elite quesadilla, which was awesome. The place was clean and the staff were friendly.

  • This was awesome! Food was great! We all loved what we got. The concept, Korean Mexican fusion, was also super cool. Would definitely hit this place again if I’m the area. Price wasn’t bad either. I highly recommend this place.

  • Seoul Taco knows how to pack the flavor. I highly recommend the bulgogi tacos and the spicy pork burrito as is. The burritos are great because they're always big, so the most bang for your buck, but the tacos have a savory, sweet flavor I can't resist. The sweet potato waffle fries are a must try. There's usually a bogo deal for the burritos on Uber eats.

  • My fiance and I enjoyed our respective spicy pork burrito and tacos. They were both a little on the pricey side for the size of the burrito and the amount of lettuce that seemed like a "filler" but the flavor was well worth it. We spent $30 with only one bottled drink purchased and no sides so definitely not a cheap meal but I'm pregnant and was in the mood for something untraditional so

  • We've tried Seoul Taco from another state, and the food is still great. Was a bit sad to see that they didn't have the sweet potato fries, but the gogi bowls we ordered were still awesome. They also have horchata, which was also good. Quick service and clean place.
